Designing WebExplore Packages

Many school use topic boxes which are books, videos and other resources on a particular topic gathered together by the school's library service. Nowadays the Internet is more often likely to be used as an additional or alternative source of information.

While pupils enjoy using the Internet, too much time can be wasted searching for useful and relevant information. You can make the searches more appropriate and productive and designed for a particular group of pupils.

The following example of a WebExplore Package has been designed for a local environmental project based around a farm. The package was designed specifically for a group of KS3 pupils with moderate learning difficulties. Pupils are given a certain amount of information and they then click the links to learn more. Further activities are included.

Your task is to design a similar WebExplore Package on any topic and for any age group. It does not need to be as complicated as this example and does not need to include index navigation.
